Weekly Casual Play
We offer casual Star Wars Unlimited play on Saturday afternoon. All participants will receive Weekly Play promotional packs.
Prerelease
Entry: $30
The Prerelease is your first opportunity to get the cards from a new set. They occur on the weekend prior to a new set’s official release date. Prereleases are Sealed Deck tournaments, which means you do not have to bring your own deck. You will build it from cards provided to you during the event. Each player in a Prerelease event will receive a Prerelease kit.
In this kit, you will receive 6 booster packs of the set and a pair of Prerelease Promo leaders. Using the cards in those 6 boosters, plus your promo, you will build a 30 card deck (you may use any aspect 30-health base with your deck).
After you build your deck, there will then be 4 rounds of Swiss pairings, which means you can play all 4 rounds regardless of win or lose, and you will be paired against people with similar records each round. Based on how well you do, you may receive additional booster packs as prize at the end of the event. In addition, you get to keep all the cards you opened in your Prerelease kit as well.
